• Hi BeanieFan11; it was moved from Mingxing Film Corporation to Mingxing by Zanhe in 2018, citing Wikipedia:Naming conventions (companies) (most likely #Default to the most common name). Personally, I feel like for non-English titles it makes sense to have an English-language disambiguator, but policy does seem to point to keeping Mingxing.  — Chris Woodrich (talk) 22:37, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

A quick review of the images shows that all of them have alts, except for one image which I fixed. All of these images are also in the public domain. Laborer's Love looks pretty interesting so I'm going to sidetrack this review for twenty minutes to watch it lol. Jon698 (talk) 17:40, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

@Crisco 1492: For the "Final years and closure" section, could the full film of Twin Sisters (1934 film) be added? It would fit nicely with all of the other images and videos and from my reading of the article it seems to be their last successful film. Jon698 (talk) 19:52, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

   4. Reference [12] (page 32) does cover an acting school established by Zheng Zhengqiu. The article originally called it a film school, which might have confused viewers into thinking it was a school teaching the filmmaking process.

   6. Reference [18] (pages 148 to 149) does cover Zhang Xinsheng being a dramatized version of a real-life murder

   I also fixed a minor mistake in which the Huang page source was 88 rather than 44.

If you are going to nominate this article for FA then I suggest you go over the sources again to make sure that the page numbers are correct, but I cannot find any other significant errors in the article stopping it from becoming a GA>

• Hi Ikhouvanjou14, rather than continuing to edit war, please discuss the changes here per WP:BRD. The pinyin for these items has specifically not been included because that the various transliteration systems take up too much space.
