chelation

I don't have time to look this up fully, but a possible citation for the chelation thing is Kruck TP, Cui JG, Percy ME, Lukiw WJ (2004). "Molecular shuttle chelation: the use of ascorbate, desferrioxamine and Feralex-G in combination to remove nuclear bound aluminum". Cell. Mol. Neurobiol. 24 (3): 443–59. PMID 15206824. {{cite journal}}: Unknown parameter |month= ignored (help)CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link), but that says that ascorbate is effective at chelating Al when used along with "Feralex G", not on its own, and that it is effective at chelating Al even when it's bound to DNA, not especially. At the moment, the chelation issue is unsourced and has undue weight on the page, so I'll take it off for now. --Slashme (talk) 07:27, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
