Removal of a silly paragraph
[edit]In the section "Debate over millennium celebrations" There is a paragraph which reads:
"A third position was expressed by Bill Paupe, honorary consul for Kiribati: "To me, I just don't see what all the hoopla is about ... it's not going to change anything. The next day the sun is going to come up again and then it will all be forgotten."[5] Even for those who did celebrate, in astronomical terms, there was nothing special about this particular event.[6]"
Who is this person and why is their opinion relevant? How is their opinion on the matter "a third position"??
My mother-in-law thinks that the debate about pro-choice or pro-life is just a lot of "hoopla". Should I add her opinion to Abortion debate?
I'd like to remove this paragraph altogether, unless someone has objections. Calc Frog (talk) 18:33, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
