Self-promotion?

[edit]

In the final section Notes, reference no.6, is a link to Alastair Scott's CV. Is this relevant? It has no factual content about Miles Clark and appears to promote Mr Scott's CV and employment offers. Admittedly Mr Scott claims within his CV to have journeyed with Miles Clark on the family yacht 'Wild Goose' on an expedition but this will probably be acknowledged in the book of the voyage.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew ranfurly (talkcontribs) 14:45, 3 July 2016 (UTC) Andrew ranfurly (talk) 14:49, 3 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Cause of death

[edit]

There doesn't seem to be a source for Miles Clark's cause of death being the possible effects of toxins absorbed during his trip. However, in the Islington Tribune article about his son Finn's death, it says that Miles took his own life. I'm reluctant to quote that because there is a 24 year gap between his death and the article. It'd be good to get a source to get this clarified. SuzannaQ (talk) 01:59, 16 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
