The result of the proposal was move the page to Mid-Bay Bridge (Choctawhatchee Bay), as per the discussion below. The name itself does not appear to be "Choctawhatchee Mid-Bay Bridge", and the agency in charge of it is simply the "Mid-Bay Bridge Authority", so it makes more sense to have the location in a parenthetical. Anecdotally, while a great majority of the references on the Internet are to this bridge, there is a proposed "Mid-Bay Bridge" in San Francisco that could create ambiguity. • Support. The references provided, including the official website, all use the name Mid-Bay Bridge or Mid Bay Bridge without Choctawhatchee. The redirect will provide a useful link to those searching for Choctawhatchee Mid-Bay Bridge.   • On further reflection, the correct name of this article should probably be Mid-Bay Bridge (Choctawhatchee Bay). Rationale: The proper name of the bridge appears to be Mid-Bay Bridge, as identified on the website, but it may need disambiguation identifier as an aid to searching. ●DanMS • Talk 04:07, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
• Weak oppose. "Mid-Bay Bridge" is very non-specific, as Anthony Appleyard points out. Might as well keep the identifying "Choctawhatchee" in the title of the main article, with Mid-Bay Bridge as the redirect. Casey Abell 15:51, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
