I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Hi Zillakha, thank you for creating the article on micro-internships, it does seem like an interesting topic.

I notice § Historical context only has a brief overview. If you (or anyone else) would like to expand that section, I was able to find an earlier work[1] which uses the term in the context of (shorter than normal) internships aligning business academia with industry practice, though it is only a passing mention. Please let me know if you would like a copy.
