If similar articles do not have it, I would suppose it is okay to remove. The only reason I reverted your edit, was the edit summary mentioned it not having a specific paper, which at least in my opinion is not a reason to remove content. @User:ReyHahn I would like to understand something from you. You are not ready to let anyone add Anatole Abragam as Michel's PhD advisor. On the whole Wikipedia page, I did not see any reference to Michel's thesis citing that's not the case. As other users have tried and have pointed out, Anatole Abragam and Neil S. Sullivan, both should be credited, but if it comes to picking one, it should be Anatole Abragam. What you are adamant about can be understood as the following: X does a PhD at Prof Y's lab working under the supervison of a postdoc Z. And somehow the world starts believing postdoc Z is the PhD advisor. Sorry that's not the case. Prof. Y is the PhD advisor, period. It was Anatole Abragam's group where Michel did his PhD. (edit conflict) The source used is Abragam saying that Devoret's advisor is Sullivan. Devoret thesis says that his advisor was Sullivan. There is no ambiguity about it. Also the text clarifies Abragam's role as lab leader.--ReyHahn (talk) 19:29, 12 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
