External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Mhallami. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20070807112357/http://www.libasoli.de/doku/Auszug.pdf to http://www.libasoli.de/doku/Auszug.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

1907 source
[edit]PEPSI697 This source is way too old to be added to a Wikipedia article. It is not mainstream or relevant. Per WP:AGEMATTERS, age of sources matters when more recent scholarship is available. There are plenty of recent, peer-reviewed works on the Mhallami. Colonial-era travel notes for MENA history are not WP:RS. Please rely on modern secondary sources rather than outdated anecdotes from 1907.
Also why did you remove citations from Abdülbaki Bozkurt, “The Historical Roots of the Mhallami Arabs in Turkey as a Subject of Debate” (Journal of International Social Research, 2020) which is already cited on the page? --193.173.86.222 (talk) 09:52, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know and also thanks for discussing the problem, I appreciate it. I've looked at my revision when I was reverting your edits, it appears I only removed 1 source which was a newspaper citation or book citation. Thanks for pointing out that mistake and reverting it yourself, I appreciate that too. Thanks. PEPSI697 (💬) (📝) 09:56, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your understanding. --193.173.86.222 (talk) 10:09, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Please only use scholarly sources
[edit]There are too many fictional or non-academic sources being added. User 〜2025-33604-10 attempted to introduce a random website and cite it as a reference. Please rely only on academic material. The peer-reviewed study titled The Historical Roots of the Mhallami Arabs in Turkey as a Subject of Debate by Bozkurt identifies the Mhallami as Arabs. --~2025-34235-58 (talk) 11:34, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi P2p76 , see the above. --Mhallamiboy (talk) 00:34, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
