The text of the article speaks of the deity as a he; yet the categories are clearly for goddesses. Which is correct?--FeanorStar7 01:56, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Many Mesoamerican deities have multiple aspects, which can also involve a dual-nature or identity in gender- ie, have both a male and female form. That's why it is sometimes not that useful to categorise them as either 'gods' or 'goddesses'.--cjllw | TALK 12:25, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
