Antagonist Section Cleanup

[edit]

The antagonist section is obviously divided up in such a way that each enemy/antagonist has its own paragraph. For the sake of ease of access and organization, I think those paragraphs should be divided into subsections and added as part of the table of contents. Braniac294 (talk) 13:37, 26 September 2009

Heading for history section

[edit]

Currently we have the following heading in the history section: "2017–present: Dread, Prime 4: Beyond and Ravenous". This is quite wordy and actually misses Samus Returns and the Prime remaster. An earlier even longer revision read "2017–present: Samus Returns, Dread, Prime 4: Beyond and Ravenous".

I'd earlier changed it to include "MercurySteam titles" which as an umbrella brings in Samus Returns, Dread and Ravenous. We could do something along the lines of "MercurySteam titles and revived Prime series" to keep it more concise? If we skip the remaster we could also go for "MercurySteam titles and Prime 4". You're right, I attempted to shorten the heading by removing the "Metroid" from each title but forgot about Samus Returns. For now I've put your solution back (but with "game" instead of "title" per the essay WP:ELEVARTITLE).
I still don't think this is ideal because the MercurySteam games are important instalments. But we can't really name them without the header becoming too long. We could split the sections but that would make the sections too short.
Probably fine for the time being, until we have more to write about Ravenous and can look at splitting the sections again. Popcornfud (talk) 08:32, 10 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Popcornfud. We can always revise when more is known about the future for Metroid.--ERAGON (talk) 09:47, 10 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
