If it is so safe, why it is banned?

[edit]

As it is written in the main article, Methoxychlor is "practically nontoxic", "not considered to be carcinogenic or teratogenic" and "does not lead to bioaccumulation". If it is so safe, can anyone explain, why its use has been banned in the US and the EU? Krasss (talk) 01:29, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
