M'thrix supersedes M'saeta, transfer species (and wikipeida articles) to gen. nov. (sic) M'thrix
[edit]As referenced below and to increase market appeal to (acetate) consumers, Methanothrix is to be re-branded as the correct genus for taxa previously assigned to Methanosaeta. View second link below for a taste of related taxonomist's augue.
Suggest the Methanosaeta article be reduced to a redirect to Methanothrix, with all material unified under Methanothrix. Will come back to this when have time.
