[edit]I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thank you for this new article. Note that other editors have raised some issues about the quality of the references. In short, the article needs verification from more reliable sources. If this matter is not addressed, future editors may call for the article to be deleted..

Where is the definition?
[edit]I came here to find a definition and possibly a description of "Messy Church". Unfortunately, the article doesn't say a single word about what "Messy Church" actually is. We get a bit of history and a bit of information about who supports it and where it has spread, but no information whatsoever about what this is, how it works, or what makes it different from "church as you know it".
Neither does the article say a single word about what the Bible Reading Fellowship is that apparently is responsible for this program (like: what is their church affiliation?), nor does the link work.

Not sure what the vague wording "a way of being church for families" is even supposed to mean, but to make matters worse, this "definition" is pretty much the opposite of what they say on their website (which is given as a source): "What Messy Church isn’t… [...] Just for families. All are welcome: single, widowed, childless, divorced. Church is inclusive, not exclusive."
So, apparently it's for everyone. Sure, that includes families, but if families aren't the main and primary goal, this is not suitable as a definition. Setting aside the fact that it doesn't really define anything anyways. --2003:C0:8F25:F100:3987:746B:2D69:BE (talk) 20:14, 21 September 2025 (UTC)
