Tributary

Is the Merwede a tributary/branch of the Rhine River or is it a tributary/branch of the Maas (Meuse)? That needs to be made clear, as does its original course. All of the confusing river names need to be referenced to connect to either the Rhine, Maas (Meuse), or Scheldt Rivers. --Criticalthinker (talk) 09:28, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
