Are all terpenophenolics listed in the article meroterpenoids?

[edit]

I am not an expert in the field, but it seems that most terpenophenolics listed in the article are not meroterpenoids, in the sense that they are not hybrid molecules with respect to the biosynthetic pathways involved in their making. kupirijo (talk) 23:29, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I removed ferruginol (C20), totarol (C20) and mutisianthol (C15) from the list, as they are canonical terpenoids which happen to have phenolic rings formed on the terpenoid skeleton. --kupirijo (talk) 00:18, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
