Removed a literally broken reference link twice, got reverted twice.

Migunit
[edit]Information is missing about a concrete structure known as "Migunit" (he:מיגונית, c:Category:Migunit) - a concrete cube that gives basic protection against shrapnel. They are quite common nowadays. Unlike Merhav Mugan they are probably not intended to protect against earthquakes and such. Tzafrir (talk) 12:14, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
Why use Hebrew title? Rename!
[edit]Move to "Safe rooms in Israel", "Bomb shelters in Israel" or alike. I see absolutely no advantage in using Hebrew terms, which are not used by English-speakers outside Israel. It's confusing and harder to find. Redirects for every type of shelter perfectly cover the needs of those who look up the original Hebrew terms.
Also, even when disregarding that this is enWiki, while Mamad and Miklat are common Heblish terms, I don't think the title's "Merkhav Mugan" is. So for whom is it being used here, really? I'm open to counter-arguments, of course. Arminden (talk) 09:29, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
What is the topic here?
[edit]The lead opposes the Merkhav Mugan or security room, to the Miklat or bomb shelter, but then lists the Miklat as A TYPE OF Merkhav Mugan. You can't have both, not w/o explanation.
What is the topic of this page? All types of security shelters, or all except public bomb shelters? The lead contradicts the body.
Earthquakes are also mentioned, but only as an afterthought, and they deserve much more attention in a seismically active zone like Israel's (tsunamis too). Arminden (talk) 09:43, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
