Disambiguation?

[edit]

Shouldn't this article be turned into a disambiguation page, having its current content moved into new article Memory bank (computing)?  Dsimic (talk) 19:29, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Just as a note, went ahead and resolved that in a different way.  Dsimic (talk) 22:20, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Mem banks for multiport?

[edit]

In https://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~cs250/fa10/lectures/lec08.pdf, I read that memory banks are used to enable multiple accesses at the same time. It creates impression that when one actor accesses bank X, another actor may access data in bank Y. --Javalenok (talk) 14:07, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

simultaneous acces to memory banks

[edit]

Using memory banks, subsequent addresses of memory can be accesses within the same clock cycle. This technique has been used in CDC205. Shouldn't this be mentioned in the article? Jos Jacob.Koot (talk) 22:02, 8 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
