Who is Meijer? I came here via "Random article" and know nothing about the specific subject, but would like to read about the person. I thought about it when I wrote the article, but I don't know anything about Meijer and I don't know where to find it! surfing on internet, I found out this, stating that he was a Russian mathematician, nothing more, but I couldn't even find his full name! He's always referenced as Meijer, C. S. Alessio Damato 13:23, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Meijer-G representations of sin(x) and sinh(x) and of cos(x) and cosh(x) seem to be in agreement with sin(x) = −i·sinh(i·x) and cos(x) = cosh(i·x), as they must be. 217.184.68.91 (talk) 19:43, 30 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
