The indication in this article that Megadictyon is extinct is the reference to its being a Lobopodian, which entire taxon is extinct. The problem with this is that many non-scientists - and as a non-scientist I know these sites are occasionally visited by us - will not know that all Lobopodians are extinct. The conventional symbol denoting the taxon is extinct should be shown in the taxonomy box. Unfortunately, I am having difficulty editing that box in this article. I also am having difficulty retrieving the conventional symbol - which looks akin to a vertical dagger.Ray Glock-Grueneich (talk) 04:12, 13 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
