DXVA 2.0 is NOT based on Media Foundation. DXVA API is a lower level API with no dependencies on DirectShow or Windows Media Foundation.

The information on this page doesn't seem to reflect any changes in Windows 7, this needs to be corrected as the Media Foundation has extra support in terms of codecs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.165.45.232 (talk) 00:27, 24 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
