Computing history

[edit]

What about adding some information on the computing systems at McGill beginning with the first computer introduced in 1956? I have found some documents that confirm a IBM 360-75 (at the McGill Computing Centre) and GEPAC 4020 mainframe (in Mechanical Engineering) as of Oct 1970 (Datac progress report via escholarship@mcgill). I think this is a lineage that we should keep track of. Or I would love to know where it is available. Tattered demalion (talk) 00:54, 28 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
