I would like to add Mazda official website link for “Mazda” comes from Ahura Mazda, the god of harmony, intelligence and wisdom from the earliest civilization in West Asia. Please see the link for details. CuriousPerson18375 (talk) 23:14, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

Ahura Mazda

I'd say the old Persian expression: 'Ahura Mazda' is cognate to an Arabic name for Venus: 'Az-zahra', 'brightness', 'Mazda' being a not very good transliteration of something cognate to the Latin: 'Magna', and the English: 'Big', this way: 'Ahura Mazda' meaning: 'Light great', 'The great light'. Expansion of and References for Bio-car Section

Two details stand out as woefully undetailed and unsubstantiated:

1. The claim that Mazda have found an "alternative [use] for...milk". No further info is given, and no relevant source is cited.

2. The claim that "Poti (gobar of cows)" is used as a component of the Mazda 5 is similarly underdeveloped, and the source cited ("Bioplastic, Research, Environmentally | Fabric and consoles in Mazda". bioplastics24.com. May 1, 2006.) makes no mention of Poti, potentially as a consequence of being a substitute source.

The poor state of these details, along with their absurdist nature, lead me to believe the claims may be a result of vandalism. Work is needed to either substantiate the claims, or to remove them entirely. Carno237 (talk) 14:27, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

Do you mean the image of their headquarters in the top infobox? The image that was taken in 2020 ? I doubt if the building even existed in 1920, let alone in that form.  Stepho  talk  06:24, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
