Should move to just "Mayadin" as the most common name
[edit]This article should be moved to just "Mayadin" as the most common name in English language usage. Google counts for English language results (you have to use 'advanced' search) in books are "al-Mayadin" syria 161, "Mayadin" -"al-Mayadin" Syria 239; news results "al-Mayadin" syria 103, "Mayadin" -"al-Mayadin" Syria 125. Note that these aren't estimated result counts - they are the actual number of results returned when you get to the last page of hits.
The article was created as "Mayadin" but moved without discussion last year to "al-Mayadin". Batternut (talk) 12:38, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
Al-Mayadeen
