Masturbation Day

Why does masturbation day keep getting yanked? Yes, on the outside, one might consider it controversial, but the fact is, May 7th is Masturbation Day, May is masturbation month, and yes, it is celebrated all over the san francisco bay area and beyond. Is this not a sight to post facts? I don't understand why this is such a fight. Leave it alone.

Who says? What standards department regulates what gets celebrated by who and where? Radio day isn't a day I celebrate. It's not a national holiday for the US, but noone is deleting it. A community in America celebrates a day, hell, an entire month. Who are you to say who recognises this day or not? If it were not of "questionable subject" then you wouldn't care, but here you are deleting it. Leave it alone. It's factual and cited. What more do you need? Coreyfro

Shouldn't it just be national holidays that are listed? Is masturbation day celebrated through out the US? Surely only national holidays or very famous days should be listed otherwise there'll be so many on each page! Every town which has some kind of day could have that listed! Subject matter doesn't bother me but I don't think this is a relevant day to list.

DaimlerChrysler

Re: 1998 entry. According to all sources I can find, Mercedes-Benz did not buy Chrysler... its parent company, Daimler-Benz, did - hence the DaimlerChrysler name. St Stanislaus

I think that if saints are put in according to the old Roman calendar instead of the current calendar it could get crowded fast. I'm not in favor. But if they are kept, as in this case, a link to Roman Martyrology is not helpful, as there are several different versions. "Terrorist hideouts"

The recent addition of the Indian operation SINDOOR phrases the strikes in Kashmir as strikes on terrorist hideouts, which reeks of bias.
