I've copied some information from the rest of Wikipedia to this article. But I believe it could benefit from:

  • list of substances with irregular maximum densities
  • temperatures and pressures of a few maximum densities
  • a concrete definition of the conditions that affect maximum density
  • a reference to show whether all conceptions of density go out the window as 0K is approached
  • some mention of "temperature of maximum density", which seems to be of interest to researchers
  • some mention of how the concentration of a solution affects the solution/solvent's maximum density
