Wegen dieses Gedichtes und seiner Mitarbeit an linken Zeitungen als Oberprimaner drohte ihm kurz vor den Abschlussprüfungen die Relegation, der Zimmering, anders als sein jüngerer, gleichzeitig gemaßregelter jüdischer Jugend-Genosse und Freund Helmut Weiß am König-Georg-Gymnasium, entging, weil nicht genügend Beweise vorlagen, dass er wirklich der Autor einiger unter „M.Z.“ oder „Mix“ veröffentlichter revolutionärer Gedichte war.⇔My main problem is in the middle of this monster sentence with the clause leading up to Helmut Weiß. I tried my best but I think my translation of the entire sentence is shaky, especially that one clause.
