Translation

[edit]

I've fixed some English usage issues (there were not many).

I'd like there to be a translation of the title of Die Transvestiten - eine Untersuchung über den erotischen Verkleidungstrieb mit umfangreichem casuistischen und historischen Material. My German is pretty much non-existent, so i'm not sure of "verkleidungstrieb" and "casuistischen".

So far i've gotten: Transvestites - an investigation of erotic ?verkleidungstrieb? with extensive ?casuistischen? and historical material

Does verkleidungstrieb = cross-dressing? Does casuistischen = ethical or moral? (there's a difference between the two)

OK, a check with the Magnus Hirschfeld article suggests that verkleidungstrieb = drive to cross-dress. Now to decide whether casuistischen = ethical or = moral. I'm now leaning to moral...
