Mohammed Assaf

Angle Harp
[edit]The illustration of what is purported to be the ancestor of the santur in fact potrays ancient angle harps, and the sticks that are claimed to be hammers are in fact plectra. The idea that it was a hammered dulcimer and ancestral to the santur was debunked decades ago. ~2026-29825-18 (talk) 20:41, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
