Spelling of name: why Matzuba?

[edit]

Why is the page named with this spelling? The infobox on the page in the Hebrew Wikipedia gives Mazzuva. The more common romanized representation of the Hebrew letter "tsade" (צ) is "tz" or "ts", I'm hesitant to do a page move until an authoritative decision and/or consensus can be reached about an alternative, of which several exist in various sources. There also needs to be a definitive clarification for the third consonant (ב) pronounced as [b] vs. [v]. If the infobox on the Hebrew page is in error, I undertake to correct it there. -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:33, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I moved the page. There is absolutely no reason to write Matzuba. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 19:11, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
