Why did John die that way

If I'm asked John was not supposed to die the way he did because he was Elijah that GOD sent according to what he has promised before the coming of the messiah and how was Elijah taken he was taken without death right so why did John die the way he did I'm throwing this as a question and I'll come and answer after 2 days 102.90.65.148 (talk) 16:15, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
