Chassis

[edit]

Whoever wrote this needs to do some research. The MS84 had a tubular space frame chassis, not a monocoque.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Ambak51 (talkcontribs) 14:58, 17 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fixed (finally). Thanks. DH85868993 (talk) 21:35, 31 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Championships in infobox

[edit]

I question whether the MS84 should be credited with 1 x Drivers' Championship and 1 x Constructors' Championship in the infobox. Although Stewart drove the car in practice, he didn't use it in any of the races, so it didn't contribute any points towards his Championship. Likewise, although the car finished 6th in Canada, that point didn't count towards Matra-Ford's points total, as only the best result for a Constructor in a given race was counted and Beltoise finished 4th in an MS80.
