Gay rumours about leading politicians are not unusual, but this has had some traction in quality sources, including The New Yorker and The Independent. I think it would be not unreasonable to mention it, along with the denial, of course. Edwardx (talk) 19:16, 9 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it would give it too much weight; even if it were a substantiated rumour. Furthermore, it's not really "traction" if quality sources report that Russian propaganda outlets and Jean-Marie Le Pen are spreading rumours. That's only traction in as far as the unreliability of Russian sources and the hatefulness of Le Pen is concerned; it says nothing about whether there is anything behind those rumours because there is no explicit evidence of anything at all, only hearsay from notoriously unreliable sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Piranha (talk • contribs) 00:52, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
the topic seems to be still relevant, even after three years. No souce mentions the authors of the scoop, namely Christophe Soret, editor and director of the French LGBT bimonthly Garçon Magazine.
