Mathema - a name, yet, historically and use the Greek word for Konowledge ...

[edit]

I should like to point out that a Wikipedia search for the word "Mathema" only, and foremost, brings up this page which says in its first sentence that Mathema "is" a surname.

Remarks: It would be most appropriate and not misleading to state instead that "Mathema as a surname is found in regions of Asia (such as Nepal) and Africa (such as Zimbabve)" and either before or after this sentence point out that "Mathema is the ancient Greek word for ..." and redirect to a page detailing the origins, the evolution and its current usages (there are many), as well as small details such as the word mathema having given birth to the term mathematics. As it stands, it is entirely misleading.

I have not made any changes, yet, since I felt that I would like to hear back from the authors first.
