Architecture
[edit]I brought this here because it's probably not nearly as commonly used term as in accounting. It's probably too much of a dicdef for Wikipedia anyway. If someone knows anything about it we can move it to Wiktionary or merge it into the appropriate architecture article.:

materiallity is also in management acounting
- Materiality refers to the material dimension present in architectural forms. The different expressive characteristics of each material play a role in the definition of architectural form, imparting it with the qualities of texture, color, touch and even sound. Stone, for example, can be synonimous of mass, stability and solitidity, while it can also signify safety and personify a relation with nature.
- Materiality is also related with the study of tectonics in architecture.
