The result of this discussion was to merge Amina Girls' National School Matale into Matale. Cordless Larry (talk) 07:49, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Per the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amina Girls' National School Matale, I am proposing that we merge Amina Girls' National School Matale into this article. The sources do no more than verify the school's existence, so there is no basis for a standalone article. Cordless Larry (talk) 21:38, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Notable individuals

[edit]

Why isn't Kumar Sangakkara included? He was born in Matale; the Sangakkara family are from Matale. Deoxy tri (talk) 00:45, 14 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistent British and American spellings

[edit]

This includes the |engvar= parameter of {{langx}}. 2600 etc (talk) 17:06, 7 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Resolved. {{Use British English}} is in the article header and has been consistently applied throughout; |engvar=en-gb added to {{langx}} calls. {{British English}} banner added to talk page. Somethingwithproof (talk) 30 March 2026 (UTC)
