This is a really basic stub on the wife of William Howitt. I didn't really know what to enter for it, so just took some really basic information. --Raj 19:07, 10 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry... that's all that Wikipedians need to get started. I added my bit to the article by adding a picture and a redirect page at Mary Botham; others will add or take away more. Ben Tibbetts 23:00, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

So I found a lot more ... refs given .... well done for starting it Victuallers 21:59, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

some poems not in supposedly complete list

[edit]

There are 3 poems listed here that are not in the complete list of all of Howitt's works, linked on this Wikipedia page. I find few sources that Mary Howitt really wrote those 3 poems. Any suggestions for how to figure out if they are really her poems? 2603:8080:B200:7B02:5928:D58A:3321:818D (talk) 00:55, 3 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Right after I posted this, I found what I think it a reliable source for one of the poems, "The Sparrow's Nest" on Google Books. Is there a good way to make that information available to Wikipedia readers? I'm not sure if a complete list of Mary Howitt's poems would be notable, and the list of works actually includes the book that includes this poem, but I was confused by the lack of the poem's name, so I would like to find a better way to avoid that confusion in future readers. 2603:8080:B200:7B02:5928:D58A:3321:818D (talk) 01:03, 3 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
