i have removed a dead link, which claimed to be a citation that Ferris had denied being a member if the IRA army council. I find this very improbable because Sinn Féin members tend to be extremely precise in their use of language, saying something like 'that report is inaccurate' without contradicting the specific allegation. Given this, it is not up to Wikipedia to reinterpret a vague rebuttal as a precise claim, it would be better to include an exact verifiable quote.
