Hello. I am Marques Anderson, the subject of this article. I want to disclose that conflict of interest clearly.
I recently attempted to update the article directly because much of the biography is outdated and does not cover substantial parts of my post-NFL career. I understand now that, as the subject of the article, the better process is to propose substantive changes here for review by independent editors rather than repeatedly editing the article myself. I will not continue restoring the reverted version.
I would appreciate help updating the article using reliable published sources. In particular, I would like editors to consider the following areas:
- additional sourced information about my UCLA and NFL career, including the Green Bay Packers naming me their 2002 Defensive Rookie of the Year;
- my graduate education at Linköping University;
- the World Education Foundation and my transition into international development and education;
- my work involving Singularity University's Global Solutions Program, machine learning and Urban Matrix One;
- independently published coverage identifying my work in cyborg anthropology;
- my 2023 EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year "Future of Meaning" appearance; and
- my participation in the Stone Soup team, which won the Qualcomm Snapdragon Spaces track at MIT Reality Hack in 2023.
I have reliable sources from UCLA, the Green Bay Packers/NFL, Essence, EY, Qualcomm and other published sources for these points.
Rather than asking for the entire article to be replaced at once, I am happy for these changes to be considered section by section and revised by independent editors as needed for neutrality, sourcing and appropriate weight.
Thank you for the guidance and assistance.

- To make the request easier to review, I would like to begin with a specific, independently sourced update to the football portion of the biography.
- Proposed addition/correction:
- Anderson was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft with the 92nd overall pick. During his rookie season, he appeared in 14 regular-season games and started 11, recording four interceptions and returning two for touchdowns. Anderson won the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week award three times during the 2002 season and was one of five finalists for the 2002 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year award. The Green Bay Packers separately named him their 2002 Defensive Rookie of the Year.

- I am requesting that an uninvolved editor review the wording and incorporate the information in whatever form best fits Wikipedia's style and sourcing requirements. GlobalPoppaSmurf (talk) 23:42, 22 September 2026 (UTC)
