Marking Guerrillas

   There were no "MARKING GUERRILLAS" in 1942 and headed by self-proclaimed Col. Marcos Villa Agustin, in my own words Agustin was not the leader of MARKING GUERRILLAS due of my research in the process of my late father BIOGRAPHY, Maj. PEDRO NOSA HALILI M.D. Agustin joined the group of my father after the fall of Bataan that made my father group consist of twelves original guerrillas and later on it becomes seventeen in mid 1942. Under F.A.I.T. headed by Col. Hugh Straughn by the ORDER of Gen. MacArthur. Agustin tried very hard to compete and want to be lead the group dis-regarding the originals discissions. He tried to conduct the raid Japanese Garrison in Bamban, Laguna and he failed. They rescue attempt comes in a worse scenario for the POW only one American soldier went with them in the name of 'LIGHTFOOT' if I'm not mistaken. The Japanese executed 'TEN' prisoners to one escapee. According to Agustin he was inducted by Two Captain American Soldiers in a rank of "COLONEL" but he never remembers their names. Another "LIES" in his interviewed that he was Captured by the Japanese on the way back to Manila from Bataan late FERUARY, 1942, that NEVER happened.

    AGUSTIN greed to lead the group of Col. Hugh Straughn and to compensate the award money in capturing Col. Straughn. One of AGUSTIN Maj. in the name of 'QUERUBIN' betrayed Col. Straughn group and captured him and his man in his ordered late AUGUST 1943, in JALA-JALA, Laguna along with my father after Col. Straughn inducted my father in the rank of MAJOR and declared that he was the "OVER-ALL-COMMANDER of MARKING", July 1943 or earlier.
