"conversation"??

This is nonsense in this context, surely it should be "conversion"? Unfortunately the source is paywalled, so not sure whether the mistake was by them or by the editor who added this, so I can't tell whether to fix it or add "sic". 49.225.171.235 (talk) 09:10, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

It's a direct quote from the source. For many paywalled articles, just searching Google for the title will find an unpaywalled version, in this case at yahoo.com.-gadfium 18:32, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

I saw this here and visited the source, where, though the word "conversation" appears as quoted, an image of the legal documents shows that "conversion" is the applicable term, as suspected. So I've added a "sic" in the article. Jcejhay (talk) 16:25, 10 September 2025 (UTC)

Correct use of "due to".

"Due to" in the edited sentence is used incorrectly. "Due to" does not mean "because of". As an example, "The flooding was due to heavy rain" would be grammatically correct. "Due to heavy rain there was flooding" would not. Common misuse of the phrase does not render it acceptable, and certainly not in an encyclopedia. Atlanquetzl (talk) 13:45, 13 October 2025 (UTC)

Jewish American cat

I removed this because the body doesn't support it; it just says he had a Jewish father and a Catholic mother. A quick search turned up this, which is an excerpt from a book on him where it's made pretty clear that he didn't follow either faith (it describes him as spiritual, not religious) but that also, given the overall tone of the piece, it'd probably be accurate to describe him as more of a spiritual-but-not-religious-not-Christian more than a spiritual-but-not-religious-not-Jew, for what that's worth. Who is a Jew? is always a complex question in situations like this but I'm just not seeing support for it in the sources I can find, and certainly not the ones in the article. --Aquillion (talk) 17:09, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
