Nationality

[edit]

Please read this guidance here about UK nationalities. If you are going to change the description of Mark Jenkin from English to Cornish, you first need to demonstrate that this is the preferred description for him, and/or how he self identifies. This means you need to cite a source. Do sources generally refer to him as Cornish, rather than English? If he has identified as Cornish, rather than English, please cite a source where this can be seen.

Changing the categories assigned to the article from English to Cornish also simply breaks all those templates, because the Cornish ones do not exist. Please do not do this. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 13:51, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Guardian refers to him as a Cornish director and so does the BBC ] and here and here . Theroadislong (talk) 18:24, 9 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
An ip editor is editwarring to include "English" they said "Another user at the talk page has supported the use of English over Cornish, you are the one edit warring here" I am NOT adding "Cornish" although that is well supported by references, you have NOT added any reference to support your assertion that he is English.
