Not that I care, but portions of this bio are very obviously lifted from other websites. I googled one of the more colorful excerpts, "musical underground. Factually wrong

This sentence:

He is best known as one of the original five VJs on MTV, from 1981-1987. He was the first of the five to be broadcast, and introduced the channel's first video, "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles, on 1 August 1981.

...is factually wrong. I made an edit to correct, but the edit was reverted. Why? Because I linked to the video, proving that it was wrong -- but apparently even linking to video is frowned upon. That's fine, but don't revert the other changes.

Also factually wrong

I removed a line indicating that he was in the movie "Don't be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood." Can find no mention of him appearing in this movie on imdb and this appears to be enough evidence to refute an unsubstantiated claim.

Mark Goodman is, I'm sure, not a unique name, but he seems likely to be the same who hosted/narrated PBS' recent video 'Woodstock: 50 Years Later'. rags (talk) 14:41, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
