Graham, the article is also about a major period in world politics, the 1980s into the early 1990s, when the former Soviet Union and its satellites like Yugoslavia were in a more fragile state than outsiders realised. Despoja's Croation Embassy probably confronted the then Yugoslav Government in ways of which we Australians (unless we worked on the relevant desk within Foreign Affairs) are not aware. Are there Croatian/Satellite States/disintegration of the Soviet Union projects to which the article could be attached too?
