Due to LPSN

Marinobacter belongs to family Alteromonadaceae Ivanova and Mikhailov 2001 anf therefore to Gammaproteobacteria, not Alphaproteobateria.

Also, en:Phyllobacteriaceae and de:Phyllobacteriaceae do not list Marinobacter as a member of this family.

which lists several genera, including Marinobacter, as members of Alteromonadaceae or at least Alteromonadales.
