was this ever called Marienkhof? It was a Soviet airbase in kaliningrad

I wonder if this was ever called Marienkhof. Marienkhof is clearly a German name and this airbase started in the 1950s - when this area was part of Russia. I can't imagine that an airbase in Kaliningrad would have had a German name. Most things I find via Google are using wikipedia as a reference. Secretlondon (talk) 23:35, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
