Is there resources available containing more information on Leptin's research interests and the meaning of those, as well as background into Leptin's personal life? These will strengthen the article. Gdegidi (talk) 15:13, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Done. Her personal life is irrelevant here. Margaretha van Parma (talk) 20:39, 22 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Honours and awards

[edit]

The mentioned honours and awards have initial years, but do they also have final years? Or do they last forever? Margaretha van Parma (talk) 20:41, 22 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Interlocking positions

[edit]

It appears to me that she is 'wearing a lot of hats' at the same time: teacher, researcher, academic administrator, academic advisor, journal editor. She has been a professor at the University of Cologne since 1994! Is this legal? Is this healthy? Can this not lead to a conflict of interests? Who keeps an eye on this? What happens, for instance, when she is the editor of a magazine that reviews a publication by one of her competitors for research grants? Or the other way around?
