Mess to clear up

[edit]

There's recently been an edit which I am sure correctly identified Margaret's father, which is great. However, it wiped out a load of stuff that was perfectly true and some references that were useful, as well as including an attempt at a citation that has left the whole first section a mess. I'll try to clear it up. I can't be sure of getting it exactly right, but I know someone wil help out if it's not good enough. Sjwells53 (talk) 15:49, 14 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I've made a temporary repair, hoping to make the article readable again. I'll download the will from National Archives for the usual fee later: I think the subject is well worth rescuing from oblivion: there are far too few 17th century women's biographies on wikipedia (or anywhere else) to let this one deteriorate.
