I request that the last line about arrests at Pro-Palestine protests be removed as it is Islamophobic and unnecessarily fuels hate. It is not related in any way to this March so its inclusion is inflammatory and constituted as hate speech.

I request that the reference to a pro-Palestine march be amended to 'multiple pro-Palestine marches drawing hundreds of thousands (multiple sources for this) which call for ceasefire.' It is otherwise misrepresentation, as there was significant pro-Israel support at the March Against Antisemitism without any reference to this in the text. The 'pro-Palestine' marches were actually predominantly pro-Ceasefire and with an extremely diverse attending. The number of '45,000' stated is a gross under representation. Partly done: I've removed the sentence in question – not out of concern of it being Islamophobic or fuelling hate (both of which are difficult to argue) as this isn't our obligation as an encyclopedia, but because it has little else to do with anything else in the article. Description of suggested change:

The attendance number is exaggerated. The London Metropolitan Police have stated that the actual attendance figures were between 10,000 and 50,000. Reuters has also reported "up to 50,000". There is no evidence of the Metropolitan Police stating that attendees were above 50,000.

 Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. You've provided no source for the 10,000 number. We have two reliable sources currently, with Reuters giving a figure of 50,000 and The Daily Telegraph giving 100,000. Day Creature (talk) 16:11, 8 September 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for reply. The point here is that unreliable sources are currently being used. The Telegraph article's figure of 100,000 is in fact referencing this wiki page so we have a circular reference! There is no evidence that attendance was above 50,000 as most sources estimate "tens of thousands" or around/up to 50,000. Here are a list of sources:

I think this is all strong evidence to show that the wiki page should state 10,000-50,000 as this is a more realistic range of the number of attendees. All sources stating above 60,000 are quoting Wikipedia and unreliable sources such as the CAA. Ijustcantstopit (talk) 09:17, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

There's no indication in the Telegraph article that it is referencing Wikipedia. I also have no idea where you're getting the 10,000 to 15,000 figure from, as it's nowhere in the Guardian video you linked. Is it your own count? Day Creature (talk) 14:51, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

Thanks again for your reply. I can't check the Telegraph article as it's behind a paywall but I remember it referencing the organisers's estimate which was on the Wikipedia page.

The 10,000-15,000 count was a photo analysis count of the march from aerial footage.

I think the important points are:

- The official police estimate is ~50,000 over the two days.

- Several outlets (Reuters, JTA, JNS, Euractiv) directly tie this figure to the Metropolitan Police.

- Others (AP, Guardian) used the vaguer “tens of thousands” description without citing police.

- BBC, Sky News, Jewish Chronicle, Fox News repeated organisers’ claims of 60,000–105,000, but those are not supported by police data.

Based on this I would say that it's inaccurated to state that the attendance was >50,000 and it should at least be amended to read "up to 50,000" Ijustcantstopit (talk) 10:22, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
