Hello,

I’m Marcel Mettelsiefen, the subject of this article. I’d like to kindly request the help of an experienced editor to update the page with a few recent developments in my professional career. I’m aware of Wikipedia’s conflict of interest guidelines and will not edit the article directly myself.

Specifically, I would be grateful if someone could consider:

Adding mention of the two BAFTA Awards I received in 2025 for the documentary State of Rage (Best Current Affairs and Best Photography in a Documentary).

Including a note that I founded the production company Duskwater Films, based in Barcelona, in 2023. Additionally, I’d like to suggest the creation of standalone articles for:

State of Rage – a documentary that has received critical acclaim and international broadcast (Channel 4, ARTE, Frontline PBS), focusing on youth radicalization in Israel and Palestine.

In Her Hands – a 2022 Netflix Original documentary that I co-directed. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was longlisted for an Academy Award.

I’m happy to provide reliable sources and references for any of the above, if helpful. Thank you in advance to anyone willing to assist in improving the coverage.
