Health claims
[edit]Have any of the Chinese studies been replicated in other countries?
Maotai Liquor:

Alternate spelling is Moutai Liquor:

Link needs clarification
[edit]"Maotai use simple materials grain and water"... is "materials grain" an accepted term that merits a link?
Further down the article, there are multiple references to "sauce fragrance": should this really be "source", which could be expanded to "authentic", "original" and so on? MarkMLl (talk) 21:32, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
Taste
[edit]Many drink reviewers say that Maotai tastes like paint thinner. Should we include this or is this to subjective?Moneyfunky (talk) 00:00, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
Paint Thinner
[edit]The taste mentions the aroma instead. We should make the aroma separate then explain that multiple reviewers say it tastes like paint thinner which is important information. According to this: https://cocktailsandbars.com/moutai-baijiu-review/ it tastes like savory paint thinner. Moneyfunky (talk) 12:52, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
Paint Thinner 2
[edit]I replaced taste: Savoury aroma.
With tastes like paint thinner. Multiple sources have confirmed this taste. Moneyfunky (talk) 13:19, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
